Southern Arizona 50K Trifecta

By popular demand we have added the Southern Arizona 50K Trifecta to our ultra running offerings for 2026-2027. This is a unique challenge for runners looking to finish all three of southern Arizona’s greatest 50K trail running events in a single season:

– Colossal Vail 50K on December 5, 2026 in Vail, AZ
– AZT Oracle Rumble 50K on January 30, 2027 in Oracle, AZ
– Old Pueblo 50K on March 6, 2027 in Sonoita, AZ

All events take place on a portion of the Arizona National Scenic Trail, with event proceeds donated to the Arizona Trail Association to support our mission to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the natural environment.

Special Prizes for All Finishers

In addition to the great experiences and event swag you’ll receive at each ultra, participating in the Southern Arizona 50K Trifecta gets you a custom running hat to celebrate your accomplishment of finishing three 50Ks in a single season. You will also be invited to the Awards Fiesta at Three Canyon Beer & Wine Garden in April, where will wiull announce your cumulative time for all three events, with awards to the fastest overall make and female runners. If you attend the Fiesta, you will be given two complimentary drink tickets.
